Liam & Adele | A relaxed back garden tea party

My first tweet that morning was self-explanatory; the house wasamazing, the garden was stupendous, and the bride! Oh my, when I first stepped in the kitchen I was honestly amazed by how beautiful she is. She’s got the most incredible blue eyes I’ve ever seen. No jokes here…like, crystal blue eyes. You’ll see for yourself.
I was very kindly greeted by Liam’s mother who was playing with Macy, a lovely little girl with fire-red hair, Liam’s niece, and as I had arrived a bit earlier than planned I had some time to play with her too and, let me tell you, she’s one true fan of Peppa Pig!
The girls from Serendipity Street were already setting up the tables in the garden for the afternoon tea, and a wonderful hog roast was being prepared for dinner.
Liam and Adele couldn’t have hoped for a better day; the sun was shining up high and everywhere in the house you could witness how calm and relaxed everyone was.
If I hadn’t pointed at Matt (Liam’s twin brother) when Adele asked me later that day during the evening party ‘have you seen Liam?’, I would have gone back to my hotel with a huge smile on my face. I was indeed smiling, but slapping myself too for the gaffe. I hope she’s forgiven me.

One thing I particularly liked that day were the speeches. Liam’s brother told his bit of their story, of how his brother met Adele, how they got together and how perfect they are for each other. Adele & Liam first met at a fancy dress party. He was wearing a Doctor Who costume and she was disguised as Lady Penelope. It didn’t take her too long to approach him and ask “Is that a Sonic Screwdriver in your trousers or are you just happy to see me?”.
Liam and Adele love to travel and they did travel ever since they met. They started going out as friends but their trip in France did the trick and changed everything.
Last year they went on a 4-month journey around the world and it was in New Zealand that Liam got on one knee and proposed to his best friend.
One thing I found incredibly sweet was when Liam and Adele came out of the church and we started walking towards the wooden gate, and Liam said “I like that you’ve let your hair down” and she smiled and said “Of course…I never tie it up and you don’t like up-dos anyway”.
